# Limau Token

The Limau token is a key component in Limau's vision to achieve a fully decentralized ecosystem.

Distribution will begin in [Phase 2: Utility Building](/limau-whitepaper/limau-introduction/roadmap-overview/phase-2-utility-building.md) to [Project \[RE\]dacted](/limau-whitepaper/limau-introduction/nft-collections/project-re-dacted.md) NFT holders, and the full launch will be in [Phase 3: DAO & Token Launch](/limau-whitepaper/limau-introduction/roadmap-overview/phase-3-dao-and-token-launch.md).
