# Limau DAO

The Limau DAO is a key component in Limau's vision to achieve a fully decentralized ecosystem.

Launching in [Phase 3: DAO & Token Launch](/limau-whitepaper/limau-introduction/roadmap-overview/phase-3-dao-and-token-launch.md), the DAO essentially allows the transition of power from the Limau team to DAO members to vote on and guide future strategic decisions and direction.
